2013 Barolo Monvigliero

Verduno. Cask sample. Tasted blind. Palish ruby with orange tinges. Ethereal and a little lifted on the nose. Lightweight palate of perfumed cherry fruit. Fine and almost a little light overall. Firm tannins but aromatic fruit balances this perfectly. Perhaps this will put on more weight with age? (WS)
