Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2018-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016
The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir comes from 47-year-old vines and sees 90% of the crop aged in barrel for eight months during its 18-month maturation period. It has a strict bouquet, reserved at first with oyster shell and granitic notes, a touch of smoke developing with time. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, plenty of green apple and light peach notes here, but it seems to lose some of its focus and detail towards the finish, as if it lost concentration.
