2014 Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru Les Vergelesses

(this will be bottled under Pavelot's négociant label): Deep ruby-red. Medicinal aromas of black cherry, licorice and violet are a bit inky and bound-up today. Then rather sweet, supple and easygoing compared to Pavelot's estate wines--almost creamy in the middle. With its rather soft tannins, this wine will be easy to drink early.
