Note di degustazione
(13.2% alcohol; 30% vendange entier ): Bright medium red. Very ripe, inviting, slightly high-toned aromas and flavors of raspberry, strawberry, mocha and iron. Less thick and fruity on the palate than the village Volnay; a rather classic, solid, traditional style of Pommard with a light leathery nuance and more tannic mass than the 2016 version. But this wine does not lack for energy.

The 2015 Pommard Les Noizons is a blend of four different parcels that includes Les Petits Noizons and bottled separately in 2014. This blend includes 10% whole cluster. This is one cru that I felt was showing some over-ripe notes on the nose, just a touch of dates and raisin that just takes away the precision that I discerned on the Vignots. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet entry, just a touch of dates infusing the red and black fruit with a chalky finish. It needs to rein that exotic note in by the time of bottling - at the moment I prefer the linearity of the Les Vignots.
