Note di degustazione
The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre offers up aromas of Meyer lemon and mandarin, framed by spicy notes of clove and cinnamon. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fat and open-knit, with low acidity and a saline finish.

(vinified in fûts and still in barrel, not yet racked): Bright medium yellow. Slightly exotic aromas of ripe pear and a hint of banana; in need of a racking. Plush, sweet and a bit extreme today, with the banana note carrying through on the palate, where it's joined by good acidity and salty minerality. Collet says the banana quality will disappear, noting that this wine hasn't been sulfured since March and will spend a few months in cuve before it's bottled. This dry, broad, salty wine, representing a yield of 48 hectoliters per hectare, is hard to assess today.
