Note di degustazione
The 2017 Bourgogne Blanc comes from vineyard purchased in 2011. The bouquet is clean and straightforward with touches of sherbet complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced with a primary apply fruit tinged with pear towards the finish. Fine.

Produced from Montagny fruit, the 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay offers up attractive aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, lemon oil and oyster shell. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, elegantly textural and bright but open-knit. It will drink well on release.
(Etienne de Montille bought these vineyards across from Château de Puligny-Montrachet near Corpeaux in 2012; aging entirely in older 600-liter barrels): Bright yellow. A sexy spicy topnote elevates the aromas of lemon and orange. Nicely concentrated Bourgogne Blanc with good floral lift to its citrus and stone fruit flavors. Should make a tasty bottle.
