No hail here. Not much nose. Firm and sweet. Lots of richness on the palate. Good freshness. Very positive finish. (JR)

The 2014 Volnay Village showed a slight reduction on the nose, but there is some attractive effervescent red cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin with dark berry fruit, though I am looking for a little more sensuality to come through. Not bad, but I am still waiting to "click" with Mark's Volnay.
