2013 Chianti Classico Riserva

This is a balanced and charming wine. The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva does not have much primary fruit but it does deliver a big dose of balsam herb, rosemary and savory spice. The wine is lean and tight in terms of mouthfeel but the finish does move forward with bright intensity, licorice and grilled herb. Only 1,500 bottles were released.
