Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2020

Exhibiting aromas of warm bread, orange oil and crisp yellow apple, Latour's 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Château de Blagny is medium to full-bodied, succulent and lively, with a vibrant core of fruit and a saline finish. It has turned out well.

There’s a very exotic array of ripe-peach aromas on the nose here. Melon notes, too. The palate has a very attractive, rich and expansive thread with a wealth of pithy, fleshy fruit flavor. Drink in the next eight years.

Cask sample. Very fresh, just-ripe fruit on the nose. Unadorned. Not a vestige of oak discernible. Straightforward. Lightly chewy on the end. (JR)
