Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2028-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

Offering up notes of lime oil, tart Anjou pear, peach kernels and sesame that are delicately framed by a judicious touch of new oak, the 2016 Meursault Les Rougeots is medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with more texture and a denser, more blocky profile than the other village wines in the cellar this year, displaying considerable extract and a long, stony finish. Raphaël Coche notes that no one in his family can remember a time when Rougeots was so badly frosted, adding that neighboring Chevalières was entirely wiped out.

Punteggio 90+/100 · Da bere 2022-2029, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018

(heavily frosted in 2017): Aromas of lemon, lime and baked bread are lifted by a high note of aromatic herbs. Juicy and sharply delineated but youthfully backward and a bit out of whack in the early going, showing slightly hard-edged citricity, even an element of sharpness. This wine will need a good four years of cellaring but has the underlying richness to reward patience.
