The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru La Forest is superb, wafting from the glass with aromas of Meyer lemon, iodine and wet stones. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and pure, with satiny textural gloss, excellent concentration and a beautifully delineated finish. I suspect this will be a comparatively precocious rendition of the Dauvissat Forest, but it's a beautiful wine. Aug 2018, www.robertparker.com
