Note di degustazione
Tasted blind. Deep ruby colour. Quite wild fruit on the nose with a hint of balsamic. Raw strawberry and redcurrant. Crunchy, even dry, the tannins cut across the finish with real bite. Underneath, there is some good cassis fruit. (TP)

The 2017 Grand Puy Ducasse is a dark, powerful wine, with notes of dark red fruit, dried flowers, herbs, mint, sweet tobacco and cherry. Medium in body and persistent with, good balance, the 2017 has turned out nicely. In 2017, Grand Puy Ducasse is powerful but also well-balanced, in the mid-weight style of the year. It has really come together well since I last tasted it.
The 2017 Grand-Puy-Ducasse is medium to deep garnet-purple colored with aromas of crushed red and black currants, black cherries and boysenberries with earth, meats and herbs touches. Medium-bodied, it is firm and rugged in the mouth with muscular fruit and a savory finish.
The 2017 Grand Puy Ducasse was corked so I will revisit this at a later date.
