Horribly heavy bottle. Fermented and aged in a mix of steel and barrel. 20 months on lees. Some seductively mature aromas starting to show – cedar, resin and honey even though it is so dry. More cedar on the palate. On the lean side but long and in balance. Wonderful drive and persistence in classic Chablis tension. Very long. (JH)

The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, just a dab of lemongrass lending tension but perhaps missing the vigour of La Chablisienne's other, generally very commendable Grand Crus.
