Note di degustazione
A very attractive array of purple flowers, dark stones and cocoa powder with a wealth of spicy dark berries and earthy nuances. The palate has a very plush, juicy and deep-set build of regal tannins. Long, seamless finish. Right on form and one of the best from here in recent times, as well as being one of the value wines of the vintage. Try from 2023.

The 2016 Bellegrave (Pauillac) is tasty, straightforward wine with plenty to offer. Dark red cherry, plum, rose petal and spice are nicely pushed forward. Although not especially complex, the 2016 is delicious, juicy and easy to like. It should be a good value as well.
Medium garnet-purple, the 2016 Bellegrave (Pomerol) is scented of cherries, kirsch, mulberries and plums with tobacco and underbrush notions. Medium-bodied and chewy in the mouth, it's a little lean on fruit.
The 2016 Bellegrave (Pauillac) is a simple, straightforward wine to drink young, while the ripe, plummy fruit retains its youthful exuberance.
