The 2015 Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots has a tightly wound bouquet, quite Puligny-like in style, flint and smoke, more tertiary than Pierre-Yves' other cuvées. The palate is well balanced with a well-defined, lemongrass-tinged opening. This is a richer style of Meursault, yet still detailed and focused, that spiciness continuing all the way through to the finish.
