2014 Clos Manyetes

Inky, bright-rimmed ruby. Spice- and mineral-accented dark berries, pungent flowers, licorice and exotic spices on the highly perfumed nose. Juicy, sweet and broad on the palate, offering concentrated blueberry and bitter cherry flavors that pick up a spicy quality on the back half. The floral and mineral notes resonate on a wonderfully long, sappy finish that's famed by harmonious, slow-building tannins. (aged for 18 months in a combination of new and used French oak barriques, demi-muids and foudres )
