2014 Corton Vigne Au Saint

Once again there is just enough wood present to warrant remarking upon but not so much as to impede the appreciation of the spicy plum, dark cherry and softly gamy nose. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density to the powerful and seductively rich flavors that retain a good sense of delineation before culminating in a sleekly muscular finish that delivers both excellent depth and length. The 2014 Corton Grand Cru La Vigne Au Saint, which contains 50% whole cluster, has a very attractive bouquet with bright red berries, wild strawberry, red roses and a touch of orange zest, which together make this very charming aromatically.
