Punteggio 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2017

The 2015 Corton-Charlemagne shows the radiant side of the vintage in its tropical fruit and rich, flamboyant personality. This is an especially creamy, voluptuous style of Charlemagne with quite a bit of weight. Here, the personality of the year is very much in evidence. - Antonio Galloni

Punteggio 92-94/100 · Da bere 2018-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru has an outstanding bouquet with superb mineralité and tension. There is energy locked into this wine, palpable even at this early stage. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity: tensile and focused, yet with great depth and a very persistent and refreshingly saline finish. His 2015 surpasses the somewhat perplexing 2014 Corton-Charlemagne and might turn out to be the best that David Croix has made.

Cask sample. Picked 1 September. In west-facing lieu-dit Le Charlemagne, on the marnes blanches of Pernand. Vines 27 years old. Very attractive nose with 2015’s honeysuckle note. Quite big and round. Not for long keeping, I suspect. A streak of lime marmalade. Not that heavy but lots to chew on at the end. (JR)
