Very ripe scents of musky stone fruits and spiced apple. Slightly spiky and dry-edged in the early going, with its mid-palate texture currently suppressed by a strong spine of acidity. Spreads out horizontally on the back end, showing good length and spice character, but lacks the stuffing of the vintage's better examples. Most of these 2015s strike me as a bit exotic, including this one.
