Note di degustazione
The 2015 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a monochromatic bouquet of apricot and tangerine, and not much in the way of mineralité or terroir expression. The palate has a lemon sherbet opening and the acidity is well judged, but the finish lacks genuine complexity and nuance and cuts away swiftly without much in the way of aftertaste. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

Fragrant, cedary citrus, more lime than lemon. Wonderful depth and power without heaviness. Concentrated but so alive. Really persistent and compact – promising and exciting future. (JH)
