Note di degustazione
The 2015 Chablis 1Er Cru Beauroy, which sees around 30-40% oak ageing, has a respectable lime flower and citrus peel scented bouquet with a faint asparagus scent in the background. The palate is well balanced with nettle and green apple on the entry, a spicier Beauroy than others that I have tasted. It feels compact on the finish and will require bottle age to really show what it can do.

(this and the rest of the William Fèvre 2015 crus were in cuves in early June, still on their lees): Pure scents of fresh apricot, lemon and spices. At once rich and juicy, with an exotic character and a fine-grained texture to the flavors of pineapple, mango and lichee. A touch of salinity adds energy and sappiness to the middle palate. Finishes with good mineral grip. This wine began in 40% oak.
