2014 Meursault Poruzot

(there was just one one-year-old barrel of this juice in 2014): Bright yellow. Restrained, musky aromas of yellow fruits. Wonderfully sweet and fine-grained in the mouth but not at all overripe, with very concentrated peach, mirabelle and spice flavors showing excellent definition thanks to bright acidity. Distinctly fruitier than the Bouchères today. Tactile, classy and energetic on the rising finish. The yield here was below 20 hectoliters per hectare, according to Latour.
