Note di degustazione
Tasted blind. Light but well melded nose. Sweet start and fresh and pleasing even if not dramatic. Just slightly cocoa on the end. (When this wine’s identity was revealed, it seemed notably overpriced.) (JR)

The 2015 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion has a well-defined bouquet that delivers lovely blackberry, iodine and earthy scents. The palate is medium-bodied, ripe and generous, with svelte tannins, baked red cherry, cough candy and light blood orange notes. Joyful and bright, this is irresistible right now. Tasted at the 2015 Ten-Year-On tasting at Bordeaux Index.
Intense cedar, cumin, smoked caramel and grilled raspberry on the opening, white pepper, tea and sage adding further nuance as it opens. Opulent but with fresh lift on the finish, this is ready to drink now, maintains the excellence of La Chapelle.
Tasted blind. Mid crimson. Heady and savoury on the nose. Sweet start. Chewy end. A bit angular. (JR)
