Note di degustazione
(the Jobards own 1.3 hectares in en la Barre, with an average vine age of about 40 years): Scents of lemon, peach, spices and hazelnut hint at a slight rusticity. Denser on the attack than the basic village offering, showing more power and tactile salinity. Sappy, dry and rich, but more about soil and less about citrus fruits than the Meursault village blend.

Scented and floral with fine density and really crystalline structure. Throat warming. (JR)
The 2014 Meursault la Barre has a powerful bouquet with hints of white chocolate and brioche infusing the citrus fruit, all nicely defined. The palate is well balanced with veins of tropical fruit that ensure that this a very flattering Meursault, approachable and probably more early drinking than others, with an easy-going white tea-tinged finish.
