2014 Chablis Montee de Tonnerre

Pale, bright yellow. Sexy, wild aromas of lemon, crushed rock, musky grapefruit; at once savory and sweaty in a positive way. Broad and bone-dry, showing lovely density and stony mineral lift to the flavors of lemon pith, jasmine and ginger. A distinct saline quality carries through on the uncompromisingly dry finish. Two thousand fourteen is clearly an outstanding vintage for this very consistent producer.
