Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2018-2025, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jun 2016

Classic, complex Meursault aromas and flavors of stone and citrus fruits and hazelnut are subtle but expressive. Brisk lemony acidity refreshes the middle palate and extends the sappy, saline finish, which displays a late element of crushed stone. Leroux noted that his 2014s were bottled with around 4.5 grams per liter of acidity. An uncommonly dense and penetrating village Meursault.

Punteggio 16/20 · Da bere 2018-2023, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2016

Four parcels bought by Leroux, including one in Blagny. Quite intense and lively but a bit sweet-tasting – though arguably that’s Meursault village… Still a bit chewy on the end. (JR)

Punteggio 86-88/100 · Da bere 2017-2025, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Meursault Villages, a blend of several vineyards including vines in Meursault-Blagny, has an elegant bouquet with hints of white peach, almond and grilled walnut that gently unfold. The palate is crisp on the entry with a taut line of acidity, a keen citric line that renders it almost Puligny-like in style, with fresh green apple, kiwi fruit and a dab of ginger furnishing the finish.
