Enticing nose of baked lemon, vanilla and honeycomb. The palate is rich yet vibrant with flavours that mimic the nose almost perfectly. Ripe acidity keeps the mouthfeel fresh, despite the intense richness in this wine. Delicious.Dec 2015

Bright, green-tinged yellow. Subdued, subtle aromas of stone fruits and musky oak spices. Silky on entry, then fresh in the middle, showing lovely floral lift to the flavors of orchard and citrus fruits; not a honeyed style of Poruzots. Finishes dry, with a note of pear.

Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
