Absolutely intoxicating on the nose with aromas of cassis, blueberry, raspberry and sweet violets. The palate is comprised of structured layers of sweet, sun-ripened red and blue fruits, blackberry and exotic spices. The tannins and acidity are perfectly ripe and balanced. A very fine example of Clos Vougeot with incredible depth and length.Dec 2015

Already in bottle since early November 2015. Seven rows in the lower section but 60-year-old vines. All new oak. Lots of friendly fruit. A bit simple and sweet but delivers lots of pleasure. Fine and some freshness on the end. Quite racy and transparent. Fresher than her Chambertins. (JR)
