2012 Barbera Sori del Drago

Brovia's 2012 Barbera d'Alba Sorì del Drago is bright, focused and lively in the glass, with plenty of trademark Barbera acidity. Bright red stone fruits, flowers, mint and sweet spices all jump from the glass. The steel-aged Sorì del Drago is all about freshness, yet there is plenty of underlying depth and stuffing to ensure a handful of years of very fine drinking, especially at the dinner table. With a little bit of air, the 2012 opens up beautifully.
