Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2013, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2011

The 2009 Meursault Narvaux flows from the glass with explosive, tropical fruit that literally covers every corner of the palate. Sweet, buttery notes add complexity on the textured, expansive finish. This is another open-knit wine that will drink well with a minimum of cellaring.

Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2013, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, Aug 2011

The 2009 Meursault Narvaux flows from the glass with explosive, tropical fruit that literally covers every corner of the palate. Sweet, buttery notes add complexity on the textured, expansive finish. This is another open-knit wine that will drink well with a minimum of cellaring. Anticipated maturity: 2013+. Benjamin Leroux is quite and unassuming, but his wines more than speak for themselves. I tasted a wide range of 2010s, but was only able to revisit a handful of 2009s, as production is just a barrel or two for most wines. These are some of the most interesting wines being made in Burgundy today. A Becky Wasserman Selection, Le Serbet, various American importers, including: Fine Vines, IL; tel.
