Note di degustazione
Very fresh and refined, offering precise aromas of dark berries, black licorice and smoke. Full-bodied with horizontally positioned tannins that are compact and polished, showing great presence. Lightly dusty. Juicy finish. A great wine. Drink or hold.

Good bright, deep red. Red berries, dark cherry, spicy oak and a whiff of leather on the nose. Fairly rich and ripe, but with firm acidity giving juiciness and spine to the middle palate. Not a fleshy wine but nicely fresh. Finishes with firm, dusty tannins.
Fanti's 2004 Brunello di Montalcino is an inky, opulent wine bursting with dark blueberries, blackberries, violets and spices. Despite the wine's richness, for the first time in many a year additional layers of complexity have begun to emerge. The wine possesses plenty of density as well as richness to balance the tannins, along with an elegant finish.
