Intense aroma of lime and cedar – incisive and definite, quite woody (not oaky). Creamy oak is more evident on the palate. Powerful and mealy on the palate, plenty of oak spice and rounded depth of flavour. The acidity seems relatively soft but the overall effect is fresh and sustained. (JH)

The palate is very well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity. This is very well poised with good weight and a bright, vivacious orange peel and grapefruit-tinged finish that is linear but long.
