Note di degustazione
Very pale color. Nut oil aroma lifted by a high-toned violet quality that carries onto the palate. Quite dry but supple and suave in the mouth, with flavors of citrus fruit, crushed stone and nutty oak complicated by mineral and floral nuances. A deceptively rich wine with good weight. Finishes broad and persistent.

(a 1.98-hectare monopole, which Bouchard has owned since 1791) Ripe peach and a whiff of oak char on the nose. A step up in body and sweetness over the foregoing samples, but still showing some youthful reserve. This wine's flavor of peach syrup reminded me of an Hermitage blanc Finishes long but unevolved.
Cask sample. Subtle aromatic citrus entwined with a little buttery oak. Lightly nutty buttery mid palate and long fresh finish. (JH)
