Fresh, sustained garnet, a classic color for this wine. Plum, leather, licorice and tobacco on the nose, expressive of the territory. Good flavor impact on entry, then solid and consistent through the middle palate. Finishes long and slightly austere at the moment, but more fruit and sweetness should come with time.
