Punteggio 90-92/100 · Da bere 2003-2010, Pierre Rovani, Jun 2003
Remi Jobard’s 2001 Meursault-Poruzots is produced from two equal-sized parcels, one planted in 1944 and the other just 15-years old. Spicy, buttered pears compose this wine’s mouth-watering nose. Rich, broad, intense, and armed with gorgeous concentration, it coats the taster’s palate with toasted minerals as well as roasted pears. Projected maturity: now-2010. Very ripe apple on the nose. Chewy, dense and sharply delineated, with very intense apple, quinine, mineral and wet stone flavors. Dusty and tactile like a top Chablis. Very concentrated wine, finishing brisk, chewy and very long.
