The 2011 Meursault Les Tessons, which comes from vines next to Michel Bouzereau, is bestowed with an exotic bouquet with scents of dried mango, honeysuckle and yellow flowers. The palate is well-balanced with a crisp entry. It is quite austere at first and takes its time to gradually unwind, leading to a very attractive bitter lemon and fresh apricot finish. Fine. A hint of mineral reduction adds breadth to the fresh, ripe and cool aromas of just sliced orchard fruit and hazelnut. There is really lovely purity to the saline-infused medium weight flavors that exude a fine minerality on the precise, harmonious and impeccably well-balanced finish.
