Note di degustazione
Medium red, not too bright or primary. Musky, slightly balsamic aromas of redcurrant, tobacco and underbrush. Quite sweet and high-toned if a bit past its primary fruit stage. A strong note of sweet tobacco dominates a slightly bitter-edged finish. In a rather extractive style and going nowhere.

The once strong wood has largely if not completely been absorbed and frames captivating but reserved aromas of game, earth and cassis that merge seamlessly into sweet, rich, powerful and very long full-bodied flavors of real size and weight. This is punchy but not at all rustic or hard. In short, this is a terrific effort with exceptionally good complexity and a really lovely inner mouth sweetness plus it's built to age.
Deep red. Noble, soil-inflected aromas of cherry, minerals and licorice; Vibrant, fine-grained flavors of red fruits, stone and licorice. Lovely ripe acids give this wine enticing inner-mouth aromatic character. Wears its 100% new oak gracefully. Finishes long and perfumed, with very fine tannins.
