The 2010 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru has a sensual bouquet with perfumed, almost floral red cherries, fresh strawberry and a touch of apricot blossom. The palate has a fleshy entry that belies the backbone evident in this Corton. The acidity is nicely judged and it builds toward a satisfying, quite prodigious finish. Drink 2015-2025. No known US importer, although available through Fields, Morris & Verdin in UK.
