The 1993 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru from Louis Latour had quite a pronounced greenish hue. The nose displays light honey, resinous scents bordering on Riesling-like in style. The palate has a surprisingly sweet, almost "garish" entry but it regains balance and offers a soft, pillowy texture, though it is missing some complexity toward the finish.

Informazioni sul produttore

Louis Latour
The Latour family has been growing vines in Burgundy since at least 1731. Their négociant business – today one of the region’s biggest names – was founded in 1797. Still family-owned today, the company owns 48 hectares of vines, 27 of which are Grand Cru, as well as its own cooperage.
