Note di degustazione
Reticent nose hints at citrus fruits and menthol. Then intensely flavored if a bit youthfully tight, even rigid; flavors of flowers, spices and mint. Today this seems a bit less long on the aftertaste than the Folatieres, but it's still young. This wine, from a single holding in Aloxe-Corton, has been especially tight in the early going since the 2002 vintage, notes Boillot.

Vibrant aromas of apple, crystallized lemon peel, spice, minerals and cold steel. Steely and penetrating, with almost painful flavor intensity and cut. Extremely dense and tactile, with a sappy pineapple flavor. From vines harvested on September 1: this tastes like a wine from another vintage.
