Note di degustazione
1994 Haut Brion Blanc pops with a perfume filled with honey, smoke, wood, fresh cut grass, citrus oil and lemon wax. This is rich, full bodied, intense and palate filling. The long, fresh, citrus intensive finish feels great while it remains in your mouth. Still young, this should age for decades.

This spectacular dry white Graves is a likely candidate to rival the 1989 produced at Haut-Brion. The harvest began at the end of August. The wine possesses the texture of a great Burgundy grand cru given its thick unctuosity. The superb nose of honeyed fruits and smoky oak is far more developed and ostentatious than its sister, the more subtle and backward Laville-Haut-Brion. It is awesomely rich, with a chewy texture and great purity and definition. This is a ravishingly intense, full-bodied, dry white wine that should age well for 30+ years. Last tasted 7/97

Resiny, spicy, coconut-scented nose of almost exotic ripeness and extraordinary depth. Huge and fat, with a mouthfilling, lanolin texture; yet manages to be vivid and fresh (partially blocked malo?). Citric salts and iodine on the finish give the wine superb grip. Extraordinarily long aftertaste. This extremely young wine has the structure of a red wine and may not reach its peak for 12 to 15 years. The best young white Graves I've yet tasted, and perhaps the single best wine made in Bordeaux in either '94 or '95. 97.
