2006 Ampeleia

An attractive, more chunky effort than most wines of this vintage, Ampelia’s 2006 exhibits good flesh, medium body, sweet tannin, and an earthy, black currant fruitiness with a hint of dried herbs. Drink it over the next 2-5 years. Feb 2009, www.robertparker.com
