Powerful, oak-spiced aromas of cherry liqueur and boysenberry, with woodsmoke, vanilla and mocha accents building in the glass. Lush and seamless on the palate, offering expansive dark fruit flavors and complicating vanilla and spicecake nuances. The flagship 2008 Vall LLach is a blend of 65% Carinena, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17% Merlot aged for 14 months in new French oak. Purple/black in color with a distinguished bouquet of mineral, damp earth, espresso, Asian spices, lavender, underbrush, black cherry, and plum, on the palate it is full-bodied dense, succulent, and brooding.
