Punteggio 18/20 · Da bere 2015-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, Apr 2022

Full bottle 1,311 g. Spicy nose with some liquorice notes. Not obviously struck match – just a mild hint of it – though certainly bone dry on the end. Good fruit in the middle. Very fine. Not at all austere. At peak, I'd say, but with absolutely no hint of imminent decline. Broadens out on the finish. Precisely chiselled with fruit at its core. (JR)

Full bottle 1,342 g. Tasted immediately on opening straight from the fridge. Pale greenish straw. Edge of smoke on the nose. Opening out very nicely in the glass. So neat and with excellent fruit (which Coche wines don't always have in abundance). Such purity and clarity! Not a hint of oak. Even better than the bottle tasted in 2020. Just slightly more fat – though not a hint of flab! Great white burgundy. (JR)

Punteggio 18/20 · Da bere 2015-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Jul 2020

Light but absolutely classic, spot-on fine white burgundy nose without too much struck-match reductive character. Almost Chablis-like in its rapier-like impact on the palate. Not a trace of fat or richness. Really pretty glorious! Is it really worth paying a premium for Coche's single-vineyard wines, one wonders? Long and fine. A lovely bottle. (JR)

Pale straw. Smoky matchstick nose in concentration. Mid intensity and with lots of fruit to counterbalance the mineral aspects of this wine. Bone dry finish, Very appetising and alluring. Smoke and ripe fruit. Great balance and appeal now. (JR)
