Note di degustazione
This vintage was somewhat lean and mean in its youth and also had to contend with the shadow of the 1992s, but Coche's 1993 Meursault Village is drinking very well today, delivering notes of crisp yellow orchard fruit, clear honey, toasted almonds and iodine, followed by a medium-bodied, racy palate with a pretty core of fruit and a long, tangy finish.

The 1993 Meursault Villages now seems rather flat and enervated on the nose. It does not really go anywhere or say much - a "mute Meursault" perhaps. The palate is much better: quite harmonious with good depth, hints of spice and honeycomb, later dried orange peel and mandarin, although you come away with a sense of inertia with respect to this wine. eRobertParker.com.October, 2014
