Pale green-yellow. Nectarine and nut oil aromas lifted by a floral topnote. Fat and sweet but fresh, with white peach, citrus and orchard fruit flavors lifted by a spicy component. A real essence of Meursault, finishing with very good length and a slight warmth. (As in most successful years, Ente's Aligote and Bourgogne Blanc are well worth seeking out; the Bourgogne in particular boasts a lovely balance of ripe apricot fruit and strong acidity for the vintage.)

Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2013, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2011

The 2009 Meursault is a graceful, effortless wine that wafts from the glass with considerable character and sheer appeal. It captures plenty of villages personality in an approachable, feminine style loaded with class. Clean, mineral notes frame the slightly fleeting finish. The Meursault is made from parcels in En l'Ormeau and Casse Tête.

Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2012, Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, Aug 2011

The 2009 Meursault is a graceful, effortless wine that wafts from the glass with considerable character and sheer appeal. It captures plenty of villages personality in an approachable, feminine style loaded with class. Clean, mineral notes frame the slightly fleeting finish. The Meursault is made from parcels in En l’Ormeau and Casse Tete. Anticipated maturity: 2012+. Arnaud Ente began picking very early, on September 1st. The 2009s spent approximately one year in oak, followed by six months in steel. New oak was around 25%. The 2009s were bottled in March 2010 with no fining or filtration.. I tasted the 2010s from oak. Both vintages are very strong. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524
