Pale, bright yellow. Lime and dusty stone aromas are lifted by a peppery nuance; a bit riesling-like. Then tight, firm and penetrating, with extremely primary lemon and lime flavors kept under wraps by strong acidity. This rather cool village wine will need time. (In this vintage, too, the Bourgogne Blanc is an outperformer, boasting very pure aromas and flavors of white peach and lemon, and a long, juicy aftertaste.)

Not at all showy on the nose. But great depth on the palate. Really serious wine with enormous minerality. Great chewiness, very dry on the finish. Great purity. Definitely in the line of his other vintages. (JR)
Pale yellow. Aromas of mirabelle, yellow peach and pineapple. Creamy and concentrated rather than especially complex, but nicely framed by juicy acidity. Fresh, balanced village wine with moderate length and a slightly dusty finish. (The very promising but somewhat gassy Bourgogne Blanc showed lovely ripe stone fruit flavors and compelling sucrosite, while the Aligote, the only 2008 that Ente chaptalized, combined an almost exotic aspect with very firm lemony acidity.)
