(this and the following wines are negociant bottlings) High-toned aromas of peach, hazelnut and spicy, vanillin oak. Lovely sweet peach and spice flavors perfectly framed by ripe acidity. Rich, pliant village wine with very good length. Very Meursault.

Produced from a blend of Tillets, Narvaux, and Chevalieres, the 2002 Meursault bursts forth with aromas of apples and hazelnuts intermingled with minerals. This lush, satiny-textured, medium-bodied wine is packed with tangy white fruits. In addition, it possesses a prolonged, pure, supple finish. It should be consumed over the next 3-4 years. Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
