Note di degustazione
Deep ruby-red. Roasted dark cherry, smoke and minerals on the nose. Sweet, fresh and fruity in the mouth; more likeable and lively than the Greves. Finishes with solid structure, broad tannins and lovely lingering sweetness. An excellent Beaune wine.

Smoky, ripe aromas of peach and apricot. Fat and sweet but with more energy and depth than the Santenots. The chalk-rich soil gives this wine an incisive mineral character. A clean, penetrating, stony wine that finishes long and a bit austere, with hints of grapefruit and pineapple.
Lemon and liquorice and good life and zest. Really zingy even if not the purest Beaune Blanc. (JR)
(from vines planted on soil rich in iron and clay, facing due east) Bright ruby-red. Red fruits, tobacco and smoke on the nose; less precise than the domain's other 2005 Beaune cuvees Chewy and sweet but a bit spiky, with an edge of acidity currently clashing with the wine's tannins. This is tricky to taste today.
