Punteggio 86/100 · Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2014

The 2001 Corton is deep in color. It has a refined nose with plenty of black fruit some dried blood and a touch of cola. The palate is medium-bodied and quite masculine. The acidity has become accentuated with age and it tapers dramatically toward the finish. Jean-Charles le Bault de la Moriniere is crafting superior red Corton nowadays, but this is still a respectable, if unexciting, Burgundy. Tasted January 2014.

Punteggio 16.5/20 · Da bere 2008-2018, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2014

This was straightforward and had reasonable weight and ripeness but was just a bit simple and dull. (JR)

Punteggio 16/20 · Da bere 2009-2012, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Oct 2009

Earthy, mushrooms, and mushy but fresh red fruit. Light body, highly-toned tannins, dry and spicy.  (RH)
